Balepahi River is narrow but rapids. The Balephi white water river is important for fishing and rafting too. The 17 km long tributaries of Bhote Koshi has special fishing destination for new and regular fishing adventurous in Nepal. The river starts from Langtang and other Himal from the Langtang region. Chanaute is the formal starting destination for rafting, but the fishing is possible in every points of river.

October to November and February-May are the major season for fishing and rafting. Moreover it is attractive after the summer. The local tiny village and typical resorts are the parts of attraction of Belaphi fishing. Balephi Gaun, and Jalbire, is the local village where you can get reflection of natural and cultural Nepal.

The Balephi River is near from Kathmandu. You can meet the juncture of the river named Balephi which is 73 km far from Kathmandu. The public bus, private car, motorcycle and Maruti van are the accessible vehicles. One to two and half hours are the usual time to go there.
